Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA)

ATTA is a privately held, for-profit industry trade group that serves to support adventure travel markets around the world. This global community of over 700 members provides a network of destinations, tour operators, travel agents, accommodations, and service and media partners worldwide who educate and promote the adventure travel.

 

Trust Earned Travel (TET)

TET was formed in 1997 to educate and protect travelers and to help businesses that serve the traveling public. TET gathers information about those businesses that volunteer to become "TET Seal Holders" by complying with its rules and standards of conduct. TET then shares that information with the traveling public.

Sustainable Travel International

Leave the world a better place. Sustainable Travel International, a non-profit organization, accomplishes this by promoting responsible travel and ecotourism, supporting sustainable development, and helping travelers and travel providers protect the cultures and environments they visit. They are dedicated to providing educational and outreach programs that help travelers, businesses, and destinations protect the environment, preserve cultural heritage and promote economic development.

 

Slow Food USA

Slow Food is an idea, a way of living, and a way of eating. It is a global, grassroots movement with thousands of members around the world that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment. Through national advocacy, local projects, and bringing people together through food, Slow Food USA members and supporters are making it easier to access real food that is good for us, good for those who produce it, and good for the planet.

 

Chef's Collaborative

Chefs Collaborative works with chefs and the greater food community to celebrate local foods and foster a more sustainable food supply. The Collaborative inspires action by translating information about our food into tools for making knowledgeable purchasing decisions. Through these actions, our members embrace seasonality, preserve diversity and traditional practices, and support local economies.

Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA)

ATIA is a leading industry organization with the goal of promoting Alaska as a top visitor destination, and to support and develop the growth of Alaska's tourism industry. This broad-based association of individuals and companies, with an interest in Alaska's visitor industry, works cooperatively with the State on tourism development and long-range planning, while remaining attentive to care for the environment, recognition of cultures and Alaska’s unique quality of life.

 

Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA)

Established in 1998, the HTA is the lead state agency for tourism. It is charged with setting tourism policy with the goal of contributing to the ongoing, sustainable growth of Hawaii's economy; developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and programs to sustain a healthy visitor industry; and to coordinate tourism-related research and outreach efforts with the public and private sector.
