InnerSea Discoveries lets people indulge their adventurous side on activity-rich small ship journeys that explore up-close the breathtakingly pristine wilderness and nearby cultures of Alaska’s Inside Passage.

The expeditions for 65-80 adventure enthusiasts are usually one week long and offer a wide variety of exhilarating physical and non-physical activities, intellectually-stimulating discussions about the sea and surrounding wildlife, and the raw emotional enjoyment of seeing nature up-close.

Aptly described as the “un-cruise,” these adventure trips don’t have any of the hassles associated with typical cruises such as crowds of people, long lines, herd mentalities, bus trips and stops at cruise-ship laden ports. Instead, expertly-run small group excursions such as kayaking among icebergs, hiking far-off trails, and observing whales from inflatable boats highlight each day.

InnerSea Discoveries’ guests are pampered by an authentically-kind English-speaking crew that understands the importance of individual needs. Delicious and healthy food compliments the stunning wilderness outside, and creature comforts abound on the vessel and in staterooms.
